May I ask Padre? Can you give us an inkling into who these 'Bureaucrats' were? or better still how their actions have undermined the Pope in recent times. I like to think that the functions of the Pope is rooted in strong traditions, and rarely should Popes via from the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and that of the Roman Curia.
The Church is currently at a crossroads. Especially after the departure of Pope Benedict who emphasized on the Church being what it should be, standards for anyone seeking the face of God, and Pope Francis who insisted on opening the doors of the church to anyone who wanted to Peer into it. The Church needs someone who will confront its past, and Chart an agreeable way for it into the future.
